In addition to kitesurfing, our region has other surprises in store for you!<\/p>

<\/div>[vc_column_text]The bay of Almanarre, about five kilometres long, extends to the magnificent Presqu’\u00eele de Giens. A popular spot for windsurfers and kitesurfers, with strong winds most of the year, it has a special Hawaiian atmosphere.<\/p>\n

In the vicinity of our kitesurfing spot, there are many activities.<\/p>\n

Walk on the coastal path<\/h2>\n

This trail is sometimes quite sporty with beautiful views, the place has remained wild and protected. The path goes around the peninsula passing through the forest and along the cliffs. Cycling on the salt road<\/h2>\n

Accessible on foot, but ideally by hiring a bicycle or why not a rosalie, the road runs along the beautiful beach on one side<\/a><\/p>\n

of Almanarre and, on the other, the old salt pans, exploited until 1995. On the promontories provided for this purpose, you can observe around 250 different species of birds: pink flamingos, white stilts, grey herons, little egrets, ospreys, etc.<\/p>\n

To find out more, guides from the Ligue de Protection des Oiseaux (League for the Protection of Birds) offer nature walks to discover the fauna and flora of this exceptional site.<\/p>\n

Boat to Porquerolles<\/h2>\n

Just ten minutes away from the Giens peninsula, Porquerolles island<\/a>.<\/p>\n

alternates between steep cliffs and fine sandy beaches. It can be explored on foot or by bike from its charming village. The setting is idyllic, with turquoise water suitable for swimming, and where the Mediterranean nature has remained authentic.<\/p>\n

Diving in the Port-Cros National Park<\/h2>\n

Port-Cros is one of the three islands that make up the archipelago of the Golden Islands, along with Ile du Levant and Porquerolles. It has the particularity of having an underwater nature reserve, the first marine park in Europe, where you can find many protected Mediterranean species, including the emblematic grouper. On the other hand, diving is highly regulated, so it is best to contact a local diving club.<\/p>\n

Many diving centres in Hy\u00e8res offer various services around the peninsula, such as night dives, explorations, training courses or baptisms. Some sites are internationally renowned for their beauty.<\/p>\n

Relaxing evening at Magic World<\/h2>\n

A theme park for young and old, Magic World has a large collection of rides and attractions. Thrills for some, wonder for others, there is something for everyone. There is plenty of fun to be had from 8pm to 2am.<\/p>\n

Children’s day at Kiddy Parc<\/h2>\n

Kiddy Parc is a leisure area for children aged two to twelve. Ball pools, trampolines, quads, electric cars, dugout rides and all kinds of rides will delight the little ones. Adjacent to the park, the Aqua Family is for the whole family and offers five large water slides, two paddling pools, two inflatable water slides and numerous play areas. It’s the perfect place to cool off and have a good time.<\/p>\n

Cultural trip to the archaeological site of Olbia<\/h2>\n

Interesting remains dating back to the 4th century BC can be discovered at this site. Founded by the Greeks, Olbia was a maritime port of call. It still contains important remains of the ancient fortifications, thermal baths, wells and dwellings as they were created at the time.<\/p>\n

Go-kart races with friends<\/h2>\n

On the SPEEDKART go-karting circuit, children and adults can challenge each other. Two tracks are available for adults: one of 700 metres and one of 1000 metres. Participants can choose between 160cc and 320cc karts. Children are not left out: 450-metre go-kart circuits, mini motorbikes and mini quads, electric cars, a leisure park and trampolines to let off steam in complete safety.<\/p>\n

Discovering the historic centre<\/h2>\n

The old town of Hy\u00e8res is worth a visit with its typically Proven\u00e7al streets, its wash house, its Templar tower as well as its ramparts and its castle dating from the medieval period. From the top of the hill, the panorama over the town and the sea is superb.
