Course of the training
We put in place all the necessary conditions to offer you an unforgettable kitesurfing weekend. Thus, we adapt to the best weather conditions and we communicate you the schedule the day before, in order to practice in the most favourable conditions.
You don’t have to pay for any equipment, all the equipment will be given to you before the departure for your initiation. Our specialised instructors will give you a briefing on safety measures and instructions to be followed throughout the kitesurfing session. You will then leave by boat with your teammates and your instructor.
On the beach, or directly in the water, you will watch the kitesurfing lessons being put into practice, and will receive feedback from your instructor at the end of the session.
Composition of the weekend
Our kitesurfing school in the bay of Almanarre offers 2 teaching formulas, each lasting 3h30.
Beginner formula
During a whole weekend, let yourself be immersed in a weekend course, divided into 2 introductory sessions of 3h30 each. You will discover new sensations of traction and sliding in complete safety thanks to the professional supervision of our teachers. You will learn how to ride the leading edge, how to stay on the bar, how to take off your kite, how to tow and how to move around.
Advanced formula
If you are already well advanced in kitesurfing, there is nothing to stop you from perfecting your skills during a weekend of personalized coaching!
As an expert, you will benefit from an introduction to upwind riding, transitions and educational jibes. Moreover, with your good physical condition, you will have the opportunity to discover surfing or foiling.
A high level aquatic base
By choosing the KGG Kitesurf School, you will benefit from a world-renowned location, an on-site training centre and an exceptional spot. With more than 250 days of wind per year, we can offer you training almost all year round.
In addition, you can have accommodation and meals on site if you wish.
All our lessons are open to beginners as well as advanced. We focus on perfecting and introducing you to twintip, starpless and foil. We guarantee you personal guidance. At the beginning of each lesson, you will be briefed and given a theoretical part before the start.
Thanks to our state certified instructors and the North KiteBoarding school, we are committed to providing you with quality and safe kitesurfing instruction, with no more than 4 students per instructor. The equipment at your disposal is renewed every year to guarantee its functionality. Our instructors are at your side, assisting you throughout your session, advising you and answering your questions at any time thanks to a radio that is given to you at the beginning of your practice.
Also, so that your experience is not only ephemeral and that you can watch your drifts, freerides or hang times endlessly, we allow you to film your session.
A professional kitesurfing area, with your feet in the water
Located 2 hours from Nice, 1 hour from Marseille and 35 minutes from Toulon, our school offers you the best access conditions to its unbeatable spot. Affiliated to the French Federation of Free Flight and labelled EFK (French Kite School), the lessons we offer you will allow you to learn and discover the practice of kitesurfing in the idyllic setting of the Almanarre peninsula, in Hyères.
With 15 years of experience in water sports, our 2 qualified instructors will teach you to quickly become autonomous with your kitesurf. This, in all areas and with complete confidence.
